After three attempts The University of Delaware Women’s Basketball team are finally champions of the Colonial Athletic Association after defending Drexel (18-13) 43-59 Sunday afternoon.

Meet The Newly 10th Rank Lady Blue Hen’s
Delaware has moved up two spots to the 10th spot in the latest Associated Press women’s basketball Top 25 polls.
The Blue Hens occupied the 12th last week, however losses by No. 9 Green Bay who suffered its first defeat 70-58 to Detroit and No. 11 Tennessee lost to Vanderbilt 93-79. Green Bay is now ranked 11th and Tennessee is now ranked 13th this week.

No. 12 Delaware women’s basketball team won it’s 10th straight game and reached the 20-win mark for the third straight season as the Blue Hens pulled away in the second half to put VCU away 68-49 in a Colonial Athletic Association victory Sunday afternoon at the Bob Carpenter Center.
