08/26/10 Newark Delaware: Yesterday my assignment was go to a Newark institution Bing’s Bakery in Newark Delaware to document the preparation process, I was really fascinated with the preparation process. I could smell dough, icing, I could hear the sheeter machine running hands beating dough and the oven doors opening and closing.

The aroma reminds one of  days when grandma would be in the kitchen during the holidays baking pies, you would never eat breakfast during that day because you knew grandma dish was always better then your mother food. I could see five see five baker roaming the floor in a frenzy as they gather ingredients for many of the products being prepared for that day.

I was fascinated with the preparation, and the knowledge of all the staff members at Bing’s notwithstanding i just wanted to taste some cupcakes.
