2nd Annual Ebony Tie Affair Youth Luncheon (2013)

This event is crafted to expose African-American/Black male students between the ages of 14 — 18 to successful African-American/Black men from all professional backgrounds–including the arts, education, science, politics and business. This year we are hosting a discussion panel full of these professional men that will engage the young men and entertain their questions.

Students between the ages of 14-18 from New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties are invited to represent their schools at the luncheon.

General Areas of Discussion:
The discussion will trek the following topics:
Failing your Way to Success (A Discussion on Taking Risks)
Why College? Why Not? (A Discussion on Finding Your Purpose)
Responsibility is Cool (A Discussion on Family Values & Accountability)
Leadership and Accountability
Integrity as the Capital for Producing Results
Networking 101–How to Meet the People you Want to Meet and Capitalize
