The Cape boys’ lacrosse team opened the season March 22 with a 16-6 victory at Dover.
Jaycob Trimmer and Erik Stancofski each had a hat trick with three goals, while Luke D’Ambrogi and Robbie Neall were the other multiple-goal performers each with two goals. Patrick Monigle, Ethan Ghabra, Devin Bennett, Dillon Mocci, Liam Zolper and Adem Tekman each scored a single goal.

Brendan Kane started in goal and was replaced late in the game by Sean Griffith.
Cape’s scheduled Friday night home game versus Parkside (Md.) has been canceled due to a scheduling snafu on the Rams’ side.

The boys’ team next hosts Sussex Central Wednesday, March 29, then Worcester Prep (Md.) Friday, March 31.
The Vikings will travel by ferry Monday, April 3, to play Ocean City (N.J.) High School.
